PEDREGUER

Pedreguer village is just five minutes from the motorway exit no. 62 of the AP-7 and is only twenty minutes from the seafront of Denia.

Pedreguer is steeped in history and there are remains of the Iberia and Roman cultures as well as the influence of the Moor occupation. The castle Castellet de l´Ocaive (12th -14th century), the Església de la Santa Creu (the Church of the Holy Cross) the 18th century chapel named Capelleta de Sant Blai or the 19th Century mills called Molinets, are worth a visit.

Another of Pedreguer’s attractions are both its fiestas. The fiesta of Sant Antoni, Sant Blai and Sant Bonaventura  are well worth attending. Great food, great atmosphere…great entertainment!

Nestled into the surrounding hills, Pedreguer is a good starting point for many walks. On a Sunday morning you will also find the Rastro market to be one of the busiest in the area and worth getting up early for.

Like most of the towns in the area, infrastructure is excellent with good medical and educational facilities.
