BENISSA
Benissa is a beautiful small town set in the northern province of Alicante. The district of Benissa covers a large area and includes coastal areas and beaches despite the fact that the town itself is some 8KM from the sea. With white sand and crystal clear water, tall mountains, wide valleys with green countryside all add to Benissa’s unique appeal. In the late 1980’s the local authorities rescued the historical part of the town from gradual decay and did a magnificent job restoring the towns narrow streets, churches and town hall.

Cut into the cliffs along the coastline area of Benissa are coves of rocky beaches with turquoise water. These include, La Fustera, Pinets, Advocat, Baladrar and La Llobella. Benissa’s bays are excellent for diving, fishing and sailing. Rural districts such as Pinos at the foot of the Bernia mountain range show the contrasts of landscapes offered by Benissa.
Benissa is very cosmopolitan and offers a coexistence for everybody to enjoy. Taste the delicious seafood and agricultural products in the restaurants located at the coast or try the traditional meals available in the historic town centre.
As one might expect, there is a great variety of property to choose from and range from “off plan” apartments, traditional Spanish townhouses, bungalows with communal facilities and detached private villas. For those looking for something really special, it is possible to find front line property with spectacular sea views towards the next town of Calpe.
